Workplace Giving Programs
Workplace giving programs provide an easy way for you to contribute to people with a wide-range of disabilities. In partnership with Community Health Charities (CHC), Ability Connection Texas works with companies to make it easy for their employees to support our mission by contributing through payroll deduction at work.Ability Connection Texas (ACT) proudly partners with Community Health Charities, the largest workplace giving program devoted solely to issues of health. If you don't find ACT in your company's program, please request that ACT be added or simply designate that your gift be directed to help Ability Connection Texas.
Government Employees/Public Sector
Support ACT through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), which typically runs from September to December. Governmental employees, including federal, U.S. military and U.S. Postal Services workers can support Ability Connection by selecting the designation code number 75416.Also, be sure to look for ACT on the designation lists for your state, city, county, or school employee giving campaigns!
Private Sector
Your company may have its own employee gift program or participate in United Way. If so, you can still help by designating ACT under the Donor Designation Program. Just write in ACT as your charity of choice. Employer Matching Gift Fund
If your employer has a matching gift program, be sure to request a matching gift to the Ability Connection Texas.
